Sounding a battle cry!

I’ve woken up in the dead of the night 4:10am to be exact to write this article, it is something I’ve had on my heart for months now, and I can’t continue living with this guilt that I’ve harbored on the inside of me for this long. Years back (I think the number is 2 now) I used to write, I used to blog and my blog was totally about issues in this country, the blog that still lives up to today (thank God for the ubiquitous internet) is titled “An Open & Concerned Heart” [rodgerkasule.blogspot.com] I am here again because of the situation we are facing in this nation, we are at the crossroads as a country in peril and headed for destruction, in one hand we are seeing a nation running without breaks like a headless chicken headed for the gutters and on the other we are witnessing the most callous exhibition of greed by human souls ever witnessed! And this is being perpetrated by non-other than our “beloved” elected politicians, these ones have brought this nation to its knees, not only by their rapaciousness but also because of their pompous, pitiless and inconsideration for the masses that put trust in them and asked them to represent them, entrusting them with the future of this country, they have all FAILED! Miserably to a point that would make the fore fathers of this nation like Bendicto Kiwanuka, Milton Obote, Edward Mutesa and the rest jerk up and turn in their graves if they could ever receive news of the current state of the nation they passionately bled to pioneer. I’m very sure none of these ever dreamt, even in their wildest imaginations of ever witnessing a kilogram of sugar go for a cost of 6000/=, a bar of soap costing 5000/= and a kilo of meat trading for a mind blowing 9000/= and despite this, we have a record breaking 324 members of parliament in one of the smallest nations on earth with each one of these representatives demanding for a 240M car, an investment that will be bankrolled &maintained by the tax payers who struggle on a daily basis to put bread on the table!! What in the world are we up to Uganda?? How bad can it really get honestly? Are we waiting for the return of Jesus Christ to realize that these politicians are driving OUR nation into a concrete wall? When will we wake up? When our kids start asking us “dad/mom what happened, how did we get here?” for heck’s sake, why can’t we say this is enough? Why can’t we for once stand as citizens and be counted? If not today, at least let History Judge us! In a nation with a president that boasts of peasantry support, how can basics like suga, soap, Kerosene not mentioning cloths, trade for double figures in a space of just months? Okay maybe we should defend these leaders with excuses like “oh it’s the global economic downturn” “things will get better….” Yada yada yada… maybe we should, but are they really worthy the defending? I’ll give you my answer: NO!! a big N freaking O period! None of these politicians deserve the public’s clemency and I can go as far back in time as I can, to give you more than enough reasons, but sadly I’m limited by time and space to do this, so I will rattle off with a few (reasons) that cross my mind.
The global economic downturn that Uganda seems to be getting a revelation of just now started being evidenced in 2008. Many countries in the west hit the panic button in the last quarter of 2008 I still remember the year because I was a 21year old keenly following the global events with a station that puts the world into a small radio, we continued doing so well as a nation for over a full year despite the panic in the economies the world over, ours was a tightly ran ship, the economy continued to blossom despite the hardships, we were still recording development despite. But then came the elections’-approach! The year was 2010, all common sense that can ever be required of an average thinking person with the responsibility over the nation’s future, was thrown out the window, up to now I’ve lost words for what I witnessed during the event of the just concluded elections! Money was being transported in sack-loads, people were being paid money using weighing scales, I mean like grasshoppers! The precious paper called money was being distributed like freaking grasshoppers for an entire year!! None of our politicians ever bothered to care, none fore saw the consequences of such stupidity, because if you ask me, I will go on and tell you about the first parliamentary session that was held behind closed doors so that our politicians can demand for salary increment and improved benefits! I lost interest in keeping tabs with the current pay of our parliamentarians because last time I checked their take home pay was bordering around the region of 30million Ugandan shillings in just one month! These are just politicians, with but hardly any sensible contribution to this nation, in my opinion we can have a better run country with just their shirts &ties and let go of their brains! Sometimes I wish (yes like millions of us) I wish I could disband this entire bunch of thieves, rebuild this nation on a foundation of patriotism and accountability, we could never have gotten to this point had we had leaders in power, leaders and not some selfish heartless dimwits at the helm of this nation! They have all failed us, left us for dead as they plunder the country left right and center, our wailings and tears have been mocked by these blood hungry demons of politicians, I have no kind words for none of them, they are burying us and they seem to take delight in it! It’s an absolute SHAME to say the least, we need to wake up Uganda, we need to take our stand as citizens, we should just pull the plug on these scumbags we have enough committed hearts and minds that can help us rebuild this nation, we can and YES WE SHOULD!!

Truth about the "peace" Flotilla

I don't take credit for any of the information stated below, because it's not my work at all, neither did I put in any least bit of effort to come up with this post. I simply copied and pasted it here from Face book. and all the credit here goes to
Uri Silberman
but I know its a great discovery and the owner doesnt mind it being share. I would have done so had he felt other wise.
Great work Uri Silberman

----------------------------------------------------------------
WHAT WAS THE REAL INTENTION OF THE ORGANIZERS OF THE FLOTILLA
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to Palestinian Media Watch, the Gaza flotilla participants created war atmosphere
before confronting Israel. Participants chanted Islamic battle cry invoking killing of Jews and
called for Martyrdom.
http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=2323

A video of this can be seen here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3L7OV414Kk&feature=player_embedded

According to the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, the "IHH, which plays a central
role in organizing the flotilla to the Gaza Strip, is a Turkish humanitarian relief fund with a
radical Islamic anti-Western orientation. Besides its legitimate philanthropic activities, it
supports radical Islamic networks, including Hamas, and at least in the past, even global jihad
elements."

Israel outlawed IHH because of its affiliation with the Union of Good and because it is an
important factor in Hamas’ global fund raising. It was included in a decision made by Defense
Minister Ehud Barak in 2008 which outlawed 36 associations which belonged to the Union of Good
(IHH appeared as number 36 on the list4).

The ITIC has reliable information indicating that in the past IHH had links with global jihad and
Islamic terrorist elements in the Middle East. As part of its connections with the global jihad
it supported jihadist terrorist networks in Bosnia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Chechnya.

That was manifested by logistic support for the transfer of weapons and money. This information
verifies findings of a study conducted by a Danish research institute into IHH’s past links with
Al-Qaeda.

In 2006 a Danish research institute called the Danish Institute for International Studies
conducted a study which reported that in the past IHH had connections with Al-Qaeda and global
jihad operatives. The well-documented study was conducted by Evan Kohlman, an American researcher
who specializes in Al-Qaeda and related subjects. It deals with the involvement of Islamic
charity funds and foundations in supporting terrorism.

More information can be found on the ITIC website:

----------------------------------------
INTERNATIONAL MARITIME LAW
----------------------------------------
I would like to show two points regarding the legality of boarding the Flotilla in international
waters. It is important to understand that the Flotilla's intention was to undermine Israel's
sovereignty, and thus, boarding of the ships in international waters was legal under
international law.

(A)
According to the San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea, 12

June 1994:

SECTION V : NEUTRAL MERCHANT VESSELS AND CIVIL AIRCRAFT

Neutral merchant vessels

67. Merchant vessels flying the flag of neutral States may not be attacked unless they:

(a) are believed on reasonable grounds to be carrying contraband or breaching a blockade, and

after prior warning they intentionally and clearly refuse to stop, or intentionally and clearly

resist visit, search or capture;

(b) engage in belligerent acts on behalf of the enemy;

(c) act as auxiliaries to the enemy s armed forces;

(d) are incorporated into or assist the enemy s intelligence system;

(e) sail under convoy of enemy warships or military aircraft; or

(f) otherwise make an effective contribution to the enemy s military action, e.g., by

carrying military materials, and it is not feasible for the attacking forces to first place

passengers and crew in a place of safety. Unless circumstances do not permit, they are to be

given a warning, so that they can re-route, off-load, or take other precautions.

(B)
Hebrew University international law expert Dr. Robbie Sabel explained that a state, in a time of
conflict, can impose an embargo, and while it cannot carry out embargo activities in the
territorial waters of a third party, it can carry out embargo activities in international waters.
Within this framework it is legal to detain a civilian vessel trying to break an embargo and if
in the course of detaining the vessel, force is used against the forces carrying out the
detention then that force has every right to act in self defense.
Dr. Sabel noted that there is a long history of embargo activities in international waters.

THE NAVY ASKS THE FLOTILLA TO DOCK IN ASHDOD
--------------------------------------------------------------
The Israeli navy asked the Flotilla to dock in Ashdod, Israel and told them that the goods would
be delivered to Gaza to which the captain of of the Flotilla answers "Negative, negative, our
destination is Gaza". This whole thing could have been avoided and ended peacefully if the
Flotilla had not tried to breach Israeli sovereignty but had accepted Israel's offer:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKOmLP4yHb4

-------------------------------------------------------
THE TERRORISTS ATTACKING THE SOLDIERS
-------------------------------------------------------
I'll start by saying that the Israeli soldiers were not prepared for this level of violence,
which is evident by the fact that they boarded the ships with paintball guns instead of M16's.
They had prepared for passive resistance. When they landed on the ship, dozens of people (we now
know that they are connected to terrorist organizations and are suspected of being paid to cause a
riot on the ship) started beating the soldiers with weapons they had prepared from the beginning
of their travels, such as bats, metal bars, knives, slingshots etc. The soldiers came down one by
one and as each one landed, they were literally lynched by the mobs of angry thugs. Here is a
video showing what happened as I just explained it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYjkLUcbJWo&feature=player_embedded

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2duPV9MQIc

----------------------------------------------------------
THE FIRING OF LIVE ARMS BY THE TERRORISTS
----------------------------------------------------------
The shootings of firearms occurred after the soldiers realized that the thugs were shooting at
them. The thugs had stolen guns off the soldiers that they lynched and started shooting at the
soldiers. In self defense, the soldiers shot back. In this video, you will see the moment that
the soldiers realize that they are being shot at. Their voices and reaction show that they were
caught by surprise:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFGuwUGaI9o

-----------------------------------------------------------------
THE PREPARATION FOR BATTLE BY THE TERRORISTS
-----------------------------------------------------------------
We know that the thugs with terror links came well prepared for this battle, and it was not by
any means spontaneous or in reaction to the soldiers so called violence. This video shows some of
the weapons that were gathered after the ship was seized:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvS9PXZ3RWM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAMFnu8ZBwk

-------------------------------------------------
ISRAEL DELIVERS THE GOODS TO GAZA
-------------------------------------------------
And finally, was this whole Flotilla really necessary? Israel had offered to deliver the goods to
Gaza anyway if the Flotilla had only sent them to Israel to be checked. Despite the provocation
they caused, Israel nonetheless delivered the goods as promised as can be seen in this video:

Post-election violence; Afghans a more civil lot?

For friends that might have missed the other week's news about Kampala, we here are all just thankful to Jesus for delivering the nation from some roaming spirit of genocide. Embryonic from a needless stand-off between the government and some (Uganda's largest)ethnic group, there arose a 2day destructive riot in a couple of districts, and business in Kampala was put on hold for the two days consecutive. So tense was the situation, that lots of people lost their property, some their lives,

and others had their livelihoods threatened. The economy was hit so bad as a couple of business enterprises were completely obliterated by torching. But thanks be to God, prayers of the saints went up before His Holy Throne. The Lord heard and Healed the land, now the place is calm and still like nothing ever happened, we have our good ol'Uganda back, and we declare in the mighty name of Jesus, that NEVER AGAIN!!. see this spirit started in Rwanda, in 1994 was in Kenya 2008/2009 and now the devil felt he could have a go at Uganda, Christians here have always known, that the devil is envious of the great out pouring of the Holy spirit amongst the citizens of this nation, and for this reason he has always wanted to bring up something to stop the Flow of the manifestation of the Holy spirit, on many occasions he had failed, until he discovered one sly weapon: division of the church. yes, and it worked to a great extent, he brought different churches against each other, preachers fighting against one another, causing the flock to bicker against each other and hence the entire church (saints) fell into disarray. One thing that shocked me most was a friend of mine that had given me the prophesy about this, one month before it happened, and he gathered quite a number of prayer partners who prayed together with him as the day approached, he got the vision in 2006!!

Well, nuff for catch up don’t you think? Yea, so let's move on to our topic at hand. Post election violence: About two weeks back, Gabon held their elections and one of the candidates was their fallen president's son Ali Ben Bongo, who, if we are to go by the electoral commission results, won the elections.
An issue that sparked off massive violent riots across the country and claimed at least two lives, leaving millions of people's property destroyed. It must be noted, that Gabon is not the only country where we have seen such riots being sparked off due to voters' dissatisfaction with the election results. We saw it not far back in Iran, it happened in Kenya, Zimbabwe and a few other emergent young democracies,

whether the violence and riots ever amount to any positive change, that is for you and me to mull about. But recently, i must confess to you, i was extremely amazed, and by none other than the nation of Iran, they went into the elections with Dreadful threats against their lives, the Taliban insurgencies were stepped up as election day neared, with even an attack less than 24hours before the election day, and another in the most notable of places, the area around the presidential palace, NATO's headquarters at the core of Kabul's most fortified district, in the equivalent of Baghdad's Green Zone.

But the voters still showed up, and with passion, they wanted to exercise their voting rights, quite a number turned up, that in some polling stations, they had to go past the final voting hour, so as to give every one that had turned up, a chance to vote. In what has now become norm of all elections, once again the voters in Afghanistan were screwed by the authorities, massive election fraud was reported all over the country, especially in the south. Widespread instances of fraud in the voter registration process, with the registration rolls including "phantom voters" and multiple registration cards issued to a single registrant, amongst numerous other problems.

A European Union election observer mission said it believed as many as 1.5 million votes — including 1.1 million cast for Karzai — were "suspicious”. Two days before the election, an investigation by the BBC also found and reported evidence of widespread electoral fraud and corruption in the Afghan presidential election. With all this evident fraud, I begun to fear that on the announcing of the winner of the elections, the opposition supporters are going to cause havoc and go on a rampage, i held my breath, waited to see how bad it'd get and for how long. To my surprise, the voters seemed to take it cool, yes some made their protests vocal, but not violent, this left me amazed, and I kept wondering, how can a country that's been so ravaged by wars, insurgencies and Taliban brutality act so civil in the midst of such injustices? Are they just tired of violence? Or they just don’t think riotous responses would yield them any change? I welcome any comments from you guys about this.
In your opinion, are the Afghans a more civil lot than so many of other countries where post-election violence has occurred?

What if Lehman had not died?

Hi every one, im posting a pretty brief post today, and prolly in the next couple of times i might be posting. not that i dont have wut to post, matter of fact I've ALOT!! but its only that im waiting for a kinda "rebirth" yea "the rebirth of Rod" coming soon:) well the date will be November 6th 2009. 9pm (local time). it'll be a friday in kampala, and boy, you dont want to know wut is gonna happen that day:)
You'll be totally BLOWN!!
well fast forward to the topic for today.....
one year back this month (September 15th 2008) the Giant bank Lehman Brothers filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with the US bankruptcy court Southern District of New York (Manhattan)
It is claimed to today, that the collapse of Lehman sent panic waves through the entire wall street, and as a result;
1.The Dow Jones closed down just over 500 points on September 15, 2008, at the time the largest drop by points in a single day since the days following the attacks on September 11, 2001. (This drop was subsequently exceeded by an even larger plunge on September 29, 2008.)[1]

2. The collapse led to the depreciation in the price of commercial real estate. The prospect for Lehman's $4.3 billion in mortgage securities getting liquidated sparked a selloff in the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) market.[1]

3. After Constellation Energy (company that operates over 35 power plants in 11 states (mainly Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, and California)) was reported to have exposure to Lehman, its stock went down 56% in the first day of trading having started at $67.87. The massive drop in stocks led to the New York Stock Exchange halting trade of Constellation. The next day, as the stock plummeted as low as $13 per share, Constellation announced it was hiring Morgan Stanley and UBS to advise it on "strategic alternatives" suggesting a buyout.[1]

The impact of Lehman's collapse is claimed to have been so dire on the entire global economy, and up to date, we are made to believe that this is what led to the current global economic melt down.

I've been scratching my head for almost a year now about Lehman's collapse and its impact, and i found myself with this question, that I would love for you great friends to help me with, (as much as u can).I've posted this question on some other blogs with a small write up that im going to paste here as well.

What if Lehman had not died?

Im no economist, or one really good at interpreting the maths and terms involved in economic discussions. But much as im not, directly and indirectly, i am a victim of the global financial melt down. After listening to the BBC drama "The day Lehman died" i summed up the whole episode into one thing, that lehman's death led to the collapse of the US economy and down went the European economy, and so did the entire world economy. Realizing this, i was left wondering, what if the FED had bailed out Lehman brothers, or what if Barclays had bought up Lehman brothers, and let Lehman live? would
the world economy have survived? do you think we some how could have kept our jobs and continue living life as normal, based on the survival on this one gigantic company? or it could have been just another life line, and we could have continued walking on egg shells, always fearing that the world economy is on the brink of failure? im confused trying to figure out this, what's your take?

thanks to you all
I remain yours truly

Business customer care in Uganda, an oxymoron?

Over two years back, I needed to buy myself a multi-functional phone, one that I would interact with frequently as I would with a computer, since by then I didn’t have a laptop. I'd heard so many adverts on the radio about "the lion in wireless" in Uganda (Simba telecom), even before I could ever afford to buy a small phone. So when I got money on me to buy a beautiful phone, I remembered the "captivating" adverts I'd heard on radio. I took time, went to simba telecom kampala road, along the “fidodido street”, it was about 5pm in the evening, I enter the shop and found a slim bespectacled dark skinned smartly dressed gentle man wearing a blue simba telecom logo shirt. He was having a hot exchange of words with a customer on his way out, I stood there for about 5minutes waiting for the gentle man to give me some attention, and help me out with the choice of phone I had considered after searching on the internet after 5minutes of waiting, when the customer with whom the gentle man was having a bitter exchange had walked on. The gentleman turns, looks at me and moves on to go assume his seat on the desk counter. To me, I felt so humiliated, when this man looked at me and chose to go back behind the counter rather than attending to me (after all, I wasn’t a visitor in the shop for crying out loud, I was a CUSTOMER!!) I felt like he weighed me basing on my outside appearance, and felt like I was incapable of affording the high priced phones the shop has. Up to today I still believe, that this was the case, because even during the altercation this gentle man was having with the previous customer, he always kept glancing at me and so he was aware of my presence, his ignoring of me was a real stub to me, I just turned and walked out of the shop. That very night I contacted a friend of mine in Scotland and asked him to ship me a phone, I would send him the money via Western Union.

Two years later, this past Thursday (September, 3rd, 2009) I felt I should buy a new battery for my phone, and as well get another plastic casing for my phone. I didn't have it in my plans to ever go back to simba telecom trying to buy something else. but well, this time, on top of the "all cool" radio adverts, they had a public address system outside the shops and they were calling in customers, wow, I am from the post office, and my mind goes, well, probably that guy was having a bad day back then? Maybe they even got better staff now, I think I should go pass by too see if they can get me a new battery and a casing for my phone. This time round, they had expanded, they were occupying about 5shops adjacent to each other on the same street. I went to the first one as you come from the city-square towards watoto (KPC) church, and in there, I found, two guys (probably in their mid 20's) and a lady, they saw me coming in, but they were talking about something that must have been really funny to them, so the girl kept looking at me while they conversed, one guy had his back on me, and the other was seeing me from the sides, I waited there for about 2minutes while they conversed, and I kind of understood, that may be I would be second priority to the conversation they were having. Humbly, I held on until they were done, then the girl goes back behind the counter desk, and then the guy that had his back on me, turns toward me, smiling he asks, hello? I say hello back and I ask him if they had what I wanted, he responds in positive, and tells me to go over to the last shop where blitz videos is (or was). "Well, thank you", I tell him. And I walk on to the last shop.
In here, there was a gentle man putting on a moslems' hat sited in a reclining chair behind the counter desk, and another lady, dressed in a green top sited behind the adjacent counter, counting money. the guy saw me first, and sat still looking at me, the lady glanced over at me and went back to counting her money, I still stood, and waited for at least one of them to attend to me with at least a hello (well last time I'd checked, that's how it was done in a show of customer care in shops) well, after counting the money, the lady now looks up at me and she goes, "hello?" I say hello back, and I tell her what I needed. she told me they don’t have the casings, then I ask, "how about the batteries?" gentle man now gets my phone from me, looks at the battery and shouts across the room to another colleague, "hey, do you have BL-5F", he shouts spelling out the type of my phone battery, the colleague replies in positive with a price tag that I felt was a ridiculous price to me, because a friend of mine had bought the same battery from Kenya 7times cheaper the price they were telling me. I get my phone from the man with a moslem hat's hand and I start to walk out, when I looked back (still shocked about the inflated price) the man and the woman were now laughing at me, gosh, this was so... so mean, I felt, I turn back and go back to them. I ask them "is that supposed to be funny? you are selling me this battery at a price 7times more than the price the battery goes for in Kenya, how fair is that?" the gentleman now starts to say, "that is the price we sell it here, if you want, then you buy in Kenya", I go, “but that’s not fair…” "Your battery is even a fake one" he responds. Jeez, now he was starting to insult me real bad, I ask them, is this the customer care here? "You just go and buy from Kenya, this is Uganda" I started walking out and the gentleman now cracks in laughter, still escorting me with his "go buy in Kenya, this is Uganda". I don't know but I can’t even explain to you how humiliated, belittled, and despised I felt treated by these chaps at Simba telecom. And this being my second (almost 3rd) experience with the staff at simba telecom, I felt these guys are offering way less than what they advertise in the papers, TV and radio, it will forever be hard (if even ever possible) for me to ever want to go back to these people or even recommend the shop to a friend. As I walked out, I heard the announcer on the PA system that was put outside saying, "...simba telecom, we are the best..."
Thinking about this, after some time, i remembered the words of one of the supervisors that had looked at my group's final school project that was aimed at enhancing customer care in businesses around Kampala. He had asked us if we were sure about the impact our project system would impact on the business people in Kampala, “because apparently, the customer care in the city is ZERO” he stated. And what even hurts most, is that thousands of young people (me inclusive) are out there on the streets looking for jobs and can actually do a much better job than these employees of "the Lion in Wireless" but a person that has a chance to sit in this envied position, is actually abusing their privilege. IT'S A PITY.

My Purpose vs. God's Purpose, Post #1

Hello, Everyone!

Well, my good friend and brother in Jesus, Rodger, has invited me to contribute to this blog. And happily, I obliged.
Today, I will be posting my first blog entry. And it comes from something I wrote a while back on my MySpace blog. I hope and pray that it encourages you, lifts you up, and gives you revelation for this new day. I am not confident in my writings. However, I am fully confident that the Spirit of God, Who raised Yeshua (Jesus) from the dead, is the very same Spirit, Who is capable of taking a very gut-level, honest, and simple message and making it something that could impact many and inspire others to run after God's heart.
Please also know that, as a preface to all of my other entries, my motivation is purely out of an open, concerned heart ;D, and that I aspire to write and care out of compassion, and not out of a spirit of pride. Please forgive me if you are ever offended by what I post. I just want to make my Yeshua proud! I must be crazy in love with Him, or else!
Please enjoy, and feel absolutely free to comment! Thank you. And thank you, Rod, for this opportunity. :D

Shoshannah's Post:

What am I worth? What am I to be in the grand scheme of things? Am I worth more than, say, a bridge from one dispensation to the next? What!? That is natural thinking. That is to see this…motion of purpose, well, just naturally. It really is more supernatural than that.

Are those questions valid? Are they even the right questions to ask? Probably not. Given that God has foreordained all His children to be salt, a light, a city on a hill, ambassadors of Heaven, and coheirs of Yeshua, I am persuaded that He would never see my job or purpose as second class or less than desirable. He wouldn't see sin in degrees either. Or does He? There are levels of Hell for degrees of sins. But they are all sin. So, I suppose in that light, He would see my job, Joe Shmoe's job, Plain Jane's job, and the saved, believing, Spirit-filled celebrity's job as all important. Vitally important

So to say that becoming a bridge by the hand of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, foreordained for His sovereign and important purposes upon this earth, is second class or less than desirable, is saying that He didn't know what He was doing. If I am to be a bridge, then I just may end up being one of the most important bridges in worldly history. Maybe not. Come to think of it, Yeshua was a bridge… and if it weren't for Him, then we would have NO intimate fellowship and relationship with God the Father- Abba.

A bridge can be important. Vitally important. So costly that it may mean the difference of life and death for some, or many. Or not so intense. Whatever God wants.

I guess this brings me back to my question of purposes. So? I have too quickly forgotten, within my worldly cares at this present moment, that I know that my ultimate purpose, both upon this earth and in all my existence in everlasting life, is to worship God. Therefore, if I am to be a bridge from the last dispensation to my children, who could be (I am convinced who probably are) part of the last dispensation, then I better be the best worshipping and praising bridge I can be, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

If that is the case, then why am I thinking that my generation wouldn't or couldn't be within the last dispensation? Am I feeling given up on? Am I feeling replaced in the scheme of eternity by my own children and their callings? I don't know. Maybe. I hope not. But if I am, then I can have confidence that if God made me, created me with the things He put in me, then He will continue to love me and use me for His glory.

Let's get this straight: not my will be done, but Your will be done, oh, Adonai! Not for my pleasure, Adonai, but for Your pleasure. Not for my glory, Adonai, but for Your glory alone! For You share Your glory with no man- no one!I love you, Yah-Adonai!! Just use me. Use me. Use me! And let my life, my love, and my deeds be a sweet smelling aroma to Your nose! For Your name. For Your Word. For You.

SO LONG!!!

wow, guys I dont know, I feel so guilty for taking this long, gosh, its almost 6months since I last posted something on here!!! oh man, how lazy I can be some times......., I always wanted to get back here to post some more articles, but I could always procrastinate, it hadd to take some butt spanking for me to get up and get on, otherwise, welcome back every one, wow I have missed u guys sooo soo much, during the break, just so much happened, I know I suspended posts to the site when I went back to school, I felt it wiser not to juggle school with the blog, but one terrible mistake I make, I never inspired some one to take over from me for the time I was away, there's some really great guys that I'll have to introduce on here later on, and actually they have been so ready to always post something on the site as long as I can give them the opportunity, but I was always stalling, ok. alright, like you all know, I come from Uganda and in the central part of the country, where they have a saying that "when you travel you see, and when you return you tell stories" so I really gotta tell some of what I saw while I was away :) um lets see, well, there was the US elections, (big thing ya know) then we had the NSSF saga down here (social security funds) gosh, I badly wanted to come back on here and write some thing about those goons that swindled the social security funds, I really was so much dying to share something about it with some one, and so there was no better family I could think of than my "blog pals family:)" that's a new phrase right there [blog pals family] some body post that on urbandictionary :) lol well yea, and man I always felt bad for being unable to come post something on here about that saga since for most part of it, we were busy with exams and tests, never the less guys, its not too late, I'll tell u what was on my mind all through out the whole drama. I feel all those thieves that are in government that conned devoted Ugandan workers of their hard earned money, should be thrown in prison, stripped of all their riches, and people shouldn't just debate whether the guys should lose their political seats or not, gosh they are thieves, they should be tried in courts of LAW!! not parliament (congress) they stole from the worker's period!! and they were supposed to be arrested and taken to prison pending further investigations, and now this is the most annoying part, nothing was done to these broad day light thieves, NOTHING!! oh sweet justice, the punks bribed as many politicians as they could rally, and in the end they were never censured, oh and the president (geat president of Uganda) he just sat and looked, he neither said or did something about the whole thing, after all these are his tribes men [yes I said it!!] he just kept enjoying the whole thing all through, and now???.....no one even remembers about the whole story, but atleast not me, I still have those guys on my mind, and I'll never forget them, and I daily pray to God that their heavenly punishment is always upheld unless when they repent and apologize to the people of Uganda!
ok what else apart from the US elections and NSSF?? oh man just a lot, the war in congo, I was following it all through upto the end, and I still feel bad for having not come here to post something about it, ok let me make some brief points that I cant do with out mentioning, first and foremost, I was soo angry with Rwanda, they were supporting a terrorist, I don't care what reasons they give, (the interahamwe and all) point is, two wrongs don't make a right, u dont put out fire with fire, there's always better ways to quench the fire ( and the word here is quench!) they could have done it in a better way than suporting a terrorist, I was so so happy the other day when I heard that Nkunda had been arrested, it gave me alot of joy.
Alright fast forward, from the Congo to Russia, oh man, well I don't condone what Mikheil Saakashvili (had to google that name, quite a hard one :) ) did when he tried to invade South Ossetia thinking that the world wouldn't be watching, but again, the retaliation by the Russians was so excessive, brutal and uncalled for, and from the little I know about Russians, im so sure the people of Georgia were being subject to unbearable tremor for all the times the Russians were in their country.
Alright...., and then to the Olympics, wow hats off to Michael Phelps, boy I was so so impressed by the guy, sooooo great, 8GOLD MEDALS!!! ok I've tried some athletics before, but please never come to my home and try to check on the walls to find if I got some medals hanging up there, none, nada!, never got nothing, its not easy at all, oh and boy how about USAIN BOLT?!! gosh, he can BOLT!! I dunno if his parents gave him that name as a prophecy or something, well in Uganda bolt is a slang for split, and if u saw Usain Bolt, he actually splits close to the speed of lightening!! goodness me, that brotha is just a rare phenomenon, I don't think any one will ever break his records, prolly he himself will, esp in the 100m sprint race, cause he could even have recorded faster seconds if hed given it his whole, I remember when they were asking us to choose for the sports personality of the year 2008 on BBC radio and they had both Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt up, well my vote went for Usain Bolt, cause if there ever was a chance of winning as many as 8gold medals all on world record in sprints as there is in swimming, then Usain Bolt could of gone all the way, that im sure of.well um, guys, for some of U, im really sorry , I didn't see nothing worthy mentioning about you when it came to the Olympics, so to say ur country did nothing out of the ordinary, um,was like just basic U get it?? As for Uganda....[-( mnnnh, to tell you the truth, I think we got what we rightly deserved, I continually told fellow country men, that not until this nation recognizes sports as a potential source of income and career as well for some people, and it (government) starts to invest in it, then we should always never expect to reap from where we don't sow, scripture has it right "whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." it'd be rediculous for me as a Ugandan to think that this country should hope to get anything out of the olympics when they practically invested nothing apart from buying the air tickets for the atheletes, and giving them flags to wave at the opening ceremony, X(X( that just even breaks my heart when I think about it, we need real leaders in this country, not selfish self seekers!! [yes I said it!!] but REAL LEADERS!!

Alright, what next after the Olympics??um, let me see.....actually nothing so big there went on apart from the US elections into which I wont go so deep cause I know we all had our candidates of choice and we were so passionate about them, yes even the ones that don't live in the US some how got caught up in that thing.
Then we move on to the Israel Gaza war, who did U blame?? did U blame the Israelites for defending them selves or the hamas for terrorizing a nation more powerful than them and they still stayed stubborn even when they were over powered?.
Any way that just tells you what my take on the entire war was, first and foremost I felt so sorry for the Palestinian civilians that lost their lives, it was really so sad, but look, these people used to be warned before Israel could drop bombs on those hamas invested areas and yet they used to stay in the places so that they can be pitied by the biased media as victims of the Israel indiscriminate bombings (baloney!), and yet, the media used to hardly report on the constant rockets that the hamas used to launch into the southern part of Israel killing and keeping innocent Israelites over there in constant fear and terror. And so there was this funny scenario, so Israel calls for a cease fire and guess what?? you expect the hamas to be happy and bow out in peace right?? but what do they do? they launch 3rocket misiles into Israel that very day!! and the media doesn't even get hard on them (hamas) at all, and im like, what are these guys thinking?? I discussed this with a friend of mine that has always been so anti Israel (poor Anthony), and he was even lost for words, I mean, he couldn't find a way to defend these terrorists however much he could try.
Alright, I guess that is enough catching up don't you think?? well I think it is, if you feel I missed out on any thing, please email me or put it in the comments and I will surely get back to U
