im quoting these words from the only politician that has ever inspired me. -

never get inspirations from politicians!
alright fast forward, I was talking to a friend earlier in the day,
and I felt compelled to confront something about our society today, im writing this, partly based on experience, and also based on observation as well. Im a firm and strong believer in family and family values.but I believe families today no longer hold on to the true values that were cherished back then when we were still young, or before some of us were born. And this comes due to many reasons, but mainly due to the lack of fathers in our generation today, a friend of mine one time stood up to speak, and they said, "we are a fatherless generation," and I think I believed her, but I wouldn't encourage her to go on with these claims, cuz truly, they dont inspire us to reach down with in us, and dig into the potential we as men, have got on the inside.
I've purposed in life, not to make a dad like my dad was, and of course this statement in its self just speaks a lot. only thing i knew of my dad, was paying for my school fees, buying food at home, and may be cloths while I was still young, and quite often barking and punishing me, that's the image of a father I got, u gon say, pretty sad, yes it really was sad, and every time I look back to those days, and all that I went through at the hands of my dad, I just wish I'd seen some love in him, to be honest with U, I've never seen my dad do any thing for me or to me, to show me that he loves me!! even while he is still alive, I don't see nothing of a kind come from him.
any way, that's a long story... But this is what I've purposed to do, I've made up my mind to pursue the finest of family values I can ever imagine, and to learn from amongst the best men around on how I can make me a better dad when I get the opportunity to become one, and strive so hard to be my kids' best friend and hero.
A lack of true fathers, is one of the reasons as to why Africa is still the way it is. see when we lack men to speak into us and instill in us good family and moral values while we are still young, we are going to grow up as a un-mentored and untutored generation, and if we don't work upon changing this, even the kids that we'll bear will be like us, and generations will go on in this cycle, and we shall find ourselves in the same place even a hundred years away from now!
but if we stand up today, and borrow a leaf from some of the men that have proved them selves to be real fathers with time, and we work hard to at least be like them or even better, this country, and this world, will be miles a head, and better than wut it looks like today!
its my prayer and hope, that we can embrace the challenge.
Deuteronomy 11:18-19: "Therefore shall ye lay up these words in your heart and in your soul . . . And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."
Satan is destroying our children. Young people are going to hell because they do not have Christian parents. Fathers are designated by God as Priests in their homes. They are responsible for bringing their families to God. -[Rod Parsley]
