The Vision still stands

In the past two days, I have been working hard to finish a post that I wanted to share with you people that are subscribed to my blog, and are always expectant of getting a writing from yours truly, well I was just about done with that post, and then something hit me. I was walking along the streets today, and having been chilly all afternoon tho, I saw a lot of things and I felt my heart real hurting, I couldn't believe this was part of the fabrics of the capital of this nation, I saw so many things, that I have seen many times in the past but had always ignored, what hurts me most is the disparity between the poor and the rich in this country, and as a matter of fact its not new to many countries on this continent, we see the rich living a very extravagant life, and the gap between them and the poor is really too wide that at some point I wonder if it will ever be filled up, I walked into one of the poorest part of the city (well that's how it looked like to me) and I couldn't help but notice, the way the people that live in these miserable conditions have actually come to terms with the situation that they are in right now, matter of fact when u ask so many of them if they have hope for a better life, or a change of their way of living, they all have almost the same answer "we know things here will change, but not while we are still alive".. now that's wut makes me so angry, its not only those people, a lot many of the people I've come across and asked about the way they think we can make our city and country a better place, they give me the same annoying answer, that things will probably change, but not in our time, now I call that baloney, if U always expect some one else to carry your cross for U, then u surely have no reason to continue living, not untill we the people , wake up and realize that we are where we are cuz of our way of thinking and partly because the people that lived before us, had the same mentality as we have right now, that we were to change the mess they left behind, and we are living in the same conditions now that they left behind, because we havent decided to change our way of thinking!
I was talking to one of the old timers today, and i told him that they, are the people we have to blame for the mess that our country is in right now, when they had the baton in their hands, they never cared about us that were to take over from them, and he gave me a pretty reasonable answer he said: " when we were your age, we were into fighting wars for the liberation of this nation"
true, they were fighting, but I had to respond with an inspired response, I told him, but sir, U never learnt from the wars u fought, cuz instead of working to change, u just kept on congratulating ur selves over the victory and never looked on to tomorrow.
This is what I keep on saying, and I'll not stop saying: we are living in a country where our founding fathers never left a legacy for us to cherish, and right now its incumbent upon us the current generation, to build a legacy that the people that are coming after us will be proud of, and cherish, im not going to rest until I see this coming to pass, cuz I believe this is the purpose that my life has been called for.
I pray that i might get your support so that we can get together to change this nation.
thank you.

Be courageous to face any sort of problem as early as possible. It is like a small flame. If you try, you can stop it easily. If you don’t, it will be bigger day by day and burn everything.

please Join me in prayer

He's a friend, a son and a brother, he is young too. Five year old Jordan was recently diagnosed and found to be with a condition that makes it hard for him to breath freely, he has to under go a surgery on his adenoids and tonsils, just two days from today (Saturday), I feel compelled to call upon all of you faithful friends, to join me in prayer as we stand together with him and his entire family, it may seem to be a simple minor surgery but I know there can never be nothing simple about surgery, the devil might want to attack and do something bad, but we have to stand up in prayer and resist any attacks from the enemy. Jordan is truly a uniquely gifted child, you might find it hard to believe, but at just the age of 5, Jordan is attending an infants Bible school, can read the Bible too, and pray, which was so astonishing a discovery for me, its kids like Jordan, that the devil works so hard to attack, they are proving a treasure to the kingdom, the devil never rests in trying to plot for them, just a few days back, Jordan was also found to be having a condition with his eyes too, and at the age of 5, he is going to have to start putting on glasses so that he can be aided in his sight, now that's the real devil at work, he wants to discourage Jordan from carrying out God's call upon his life, but I know this, none of u guys can allow this to happen.
well im not a parent yet, but I know its just a matter of time and I'll be one myself, and there r some really extra ordinary kids that I've come across in my life, not only Jordan, but I know of a one Kevin that can actually unscrew a computer and check it to find the problem as to why it has stopped to work :O yes, he did that! I talked to his mom and she was all praises for her Kevin, she told me how Kevin is the cutest mechanic she has ever met lol :) and I agree with that,I've talked to Kevin before, and I came to adore him. I ask of us to pray for Kevin,Jordan and other kids that might be the devil's target we want these kids to grow into strong men that will further the kingdom if any one of us cease to be. we want to speak good health upon them, enough with the diseases and all, its now time for God's hand to manifest upon their lives, they deserve a bright and healthy future.
.....like arrows in the hand of a warrior.....
Psalm 127:3-5.

As you struggle to be the best parent you can be, keep one goal in mind; that as your kids get older, they should always know that you love them. We all make mistakes as parents, but it's a lot easier for them to understand and appreciate your efforts (however clumsy) if they know your heart in the right place.

coming to you

when I leave, I'll travel light,
and rise above the panorama of my solitude.
I'll sail to you fast and high,
weightless as the touch of night
when I leave, I'll become a light,
that shows our love in
a clear essential way
(after all, what is a soul but love?)
After all is reconciled, and the darkness pitched away,
I'll travel light,
transported home to you.
In the buoyancy of
peaceful light.

one among the great

omg, its just 3days into my blog posts and u guys r gonna see my first controversial post already :) lol, but anyway, I'll take it all in, cuz I know if any one is gonna rebuke me on here, then they will do it with love and in love, but ok, ima talk about one friend of mine that stands out above all the great friends I got, and my God, while im writing this, im thinking, do I really know wut im doing here?? well, i dunno if i know, but I hope I know :) cuz sincerely, im already seeing hatchets raised towards me, poised for WWIII lol but its all good, I can take it from any one of u. u know thinking about how tough its going to be for me to mention one name amongst all the greats that I have as friends actually makes me want to back out, but no, something keeps telling me, I dont have to back out, if anything, the people im afraid of most, will understand this and life will move on, im thinking about all the people I consider as great friends while I write this article, yes, im thinking of Charity, a friend that has always believed in me even when I never saw myself worthy of all the confidence you had in me, at least u always let me know that the power doesnt lie in the things that are going on around me, but in my will, and wut I believe I can do to change the things going on around me.
Im also thinking of you tony, a brother that has always been watching out for me every now and then, and in so doing, you was actually able to tap into one of the most emotional of moments, that I've gone through, now that who I call a brother.
I cant forget Arthur, omg, this guy has been really alot to me, he has been an ear to all my concerns every now and then, always there to encourage me,advice me and talk to me, it'd really be an embarrassement on my side if I never made mention of Arthur as among my circle of friends.
and can I even forget Tim??, a brother that defines every thing that a friend can and has to be in my life, Tim has been and is a friend to me, a teacher, and evern a mentor, I learn alot of things from him such that when im amongst my peers, I sound knowledgable.
and im thinking about u too Amanda sweetie, ur a great friend to me, a sister, a partner, some one that always inspires me to reach for the things that seem so hard to attain.
and goodness me, can i even forget you carole?? u who has been a sister to me and i a brother to u?, not on any single day, u r still carole to me :)

much as im thinking about all you great peeps in my life, I just want to take this opportunity, and thank God for one amongst u people, a person that has always been there for me, a friend that has always gone as far as sacrificing even her life to see that she can help me in any way she can,
she has sacrificed of her time to comfort me when im weary, to laugh with me when im excited, to encourage me when im feeling low, and to counsel with me when im confused, she has helped me know another side of me, one that may be I could never have discovered if God had never brought her in my life. she has truly made me realize what a true friend ought to be, I have so many moments I could share on here about how she has been there for me when I felt like I was closed in and every one had kinda walked out, she has always showed me that she is still sited in the fire with me, and that she can go with me all the way

I truly believe in appreciation of friends, cuz I believe that friends are like the fuel that helps the car (us) to move on to our different destinations, and so while today is her moment, next day will be another of my great friend's day, and I'll pour all my love on them like I've never done it to no one else, I believe that if any one has blessed my life in even the simplest of ways, then, they ought to know it such that they can know how much they mean to me, I pray all u guys can buy this idea, that we dont have to wait till the writing of obituaries, in order for us to show how much friends meant to us, no, we can still do it while they still live amongst us, so that it can mean more to them than when they are gone.
ladies and gentle men, I dont want to get lost in my own words here, allow me to bring to your attention, the one person that has truly fit in my best description of a true friend, and every time I think about her, I cant help but say a prayer to God to bless me with a wife that is only better than her.
that one person is none other than
JESSIE
I Bless God for her life, and I pray the Lord Blesses her, much more than she has Blessed me, together with her husband and son
thank you Jessie, U mean so much to me, and for all u have done for me as a friend, my only prayer is that one day I can try to pay back in any way I can, God Bless U you dear
and God bless all my great friends, the ones I've mentioned in here and the ones I've not been able to mention cuz of time
I love U all
prov 27:9

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success."

keeping my eye open

"we dont have to wait till heaven to experience heaven!"
get that?? well I was listening to Ray Bentley on radio in the morning (power FM) and it hit me, that most of us just have to realize and believe in that statement up there, that we really dont have to wait till we die, or when Christ comes back to take us home, for us to experience a life that could seem like heaven to us, I dont think I have read enough theology to describe or define heaven as the pundits would do it, but at least I know I could have a simple and personal understanding of heaven, I feel heaven is when u feel you are at peace with ur life, knowing that ur doing good things for both the people around you, and ur maker, not only that, I feel heaven is when u live a life that is stress free, disease free, and when you can enjoy the rights and gifts of nature, given to u free of charge by the creator of heaven and earth, I dont think heaven is when u have to struggle and stress about every thing round about U, cuz I believe, u can only stress too much in life. I dont think heaven is wut the prosperity preachers have come to make us to believe, I was praying today and I heard this stil small voice kinda enlight me on this message, that the prosperity preachers have made us come to believe that heaven is when u own a multi-winged bangulow, or if u feel thats not big enough, u acquire a mansion, drive a heavy duty gas guzzler say like a hammer, (or any other SUV), can waste money on each and every oportunity u get, in the name of exposing of ur "blessing(s)" they also want us to believe that when u wear a jacket worthy 10's of thousands of dollars, or when can eat a plate of food that costs over $1000, then people will see and know that ur blessed, and so in so doing, they encourage us to stress so much upon recieving such a "status" in a way, I kind of think, wut happens when u cant get these things?? U'll definately look a looser to U and every one that has been watching U.
Not only that, in a bid to acquire this "status" ur going to end up working so hard to attain the material things, and I even feel ur going to trist the scriptures to see to it that it suits ur lust after these things.

well people, im not a preacher, but I dont buy what the prosperity preachers teach, at least not any more, I been there and I done it all, its time to move on, when I was praying, this is what i felt in my heart, that all we need is seeking after the things that move God's heart, u know, when a number of children go to sleep on an empty stomach even in ur locality, do you really need to buy that $1000 plate?? when so many people around u cant even afford a manual bike, do u really need to drive a hammer?? and when atleast a great number of peopel (dont have the stats yet) are thrown into jail for crimes they are wrongfull being accused of commiting, and they never get justice served to them, do u really feel u need to sleep comfortably in that multi winged bangalow, now get me right peeps, im not stoping any one from pursuing after a good (dream) life, no, thats not my point, my point is this, wut really moves U?? are u moved by the same things that move the heart of God?? are you inspired by the things that change society and make the world a better place??, working upon stoping the injustices that we face daily in our society, the greed of the minority that have more than others, and feel they can use it to gain control over the less previledged?? I hope so guys, cuz thats wut our purpose on earth is, to serve His purpose and fullfil His will upon our lives, so that we can be accountable to Him when we finnally make our way back home.

"we dont have to wait till heaven to experience heaven!" try to make a heaven for the folks around u.
thank you guys, talk to you again.
Isiah 1:17
